Default ON HOLD - 2014 Santa Cruz OM - Moon Spruce / Honduran Rosewood *Excellent++*

Back on the market. This is an excellent ++ condition OM from Santa Cruz, with beautiful Moon Spruce top over Honduran Rosewood back and sides. Brazilian RW binding on the body and neck. Beautiful played in tone to the Moon Spruce top. 1 3/4" nut with a soft V neck profile that is a little thinner than the normal SC profile. Outside of the wood upgrades and the binding, this has all of the standard specs for an OM from Santa Cruz.

Setting the price at $5,750 shipped CONUS with the buyer picking up any paypal fees. Feel free to reach out with questions.

I will consider some trades with cash coming to me. May have interest in other Santa Cruz or Froggy Bottom models with cash either way.

That's a beautiful guitar. My favorite boutique builder, Richard Hoover has set the bar high. I love my SC om. How does your om sound compared to EIR?

Thanks for the question. The top on this is unique so I’ll caveat the response by saying that first. The Honduran has a brighter, faster response than EIR. I’d say it has a sharper and springy attack. Overtones are probably similar. Honduran doesn’t have quite the overtones of Brazilian or Cocobolo to my ears. The moon spruce adds a crispness to the tone, much like other European spruce tips I’ve played. But few have the creamy look of this top. Hope this helps.

Bump to the top. Updated to reflect excellent ++ condition (just less than mint).
