What is it the you don't like? How long have you tried the nylon? It can grow on you. I play both steel and nylon guitar and after playing one or the other exclusively for awhile, the other still can sound odd even to me until I get used to it again. Have you tried several types of strings? Until I used high tension carbon treble classical sets I wasn't enamored with the sound of my classical. And ... Here's a thread addressing silk and steel on classicals.

I'm not a fan of the fat treble nylon string either
Try the Savarez 510ZR set of strings, (normal tension Savarez Alliance trebles and Cantiga bass strings) They'll give your fingers a close feeling of steel strings and they sound great on my Cordoba Orchestra Oasis makes a great set of carbon strings that have the same feeling. I believe they're Oasis GPX normal tension

You may want to try these

Hard to say as each guitar responds differently. The two sets I like so far are:
Oasis Classical Guitar High Tension GPX Carbon Trebles/High Tension Sostenuto Basses, GX-1000H Savarez Corum Alliance 500AJ High Tension Classical Guitar Strings The first is likely only available by mail so that coould be a minus. And although I love the sound, the bass strings, most often the D, have a tendency to snap after awhile. That may be due to their having even higher tension than most high tension sets. The Savarez set you could get locally. It's one of the few I like that I found on Amazon. The biggest thing for me is high tension and non-nylon trebles. Here's an article on one players string preferences that I found helpful. Good luck, and don't give up just yet. I do think the sund will grow on you once you find the strings that you and your guitar like.

I'd recommend Knobloch CX actives, high tension. These are not nylon strings, but carbon strings.
