I think the only thing the guitars retain from Larrivee is the compound fretboard. The bracing is very different as is the sound. Its more open, clear.

Correct. We use an old Larrivee railer to do the compound radius fingerboards. A compound radius just makes so much sense and allows for a more consistent string height going up the neck. And the machine for doing it is real slick.

I got out a tape measure, and this beauty looks about the dimensions of a Taylor GA, which Taylor.com advertises as

body length: 20"
body width: 16"
depth 4 5/8".

This Halcyon measures
body length: 20"
body width across lower bout: 16"
body width across upper bout: 12"
waist 9"
depth 5"

I like the deeper body compared to my OMs. I spenty a lot of years playing dreads, and the deeper body has grown to feel natural.
