Default RIP Frankie Banali

Frankie Banali passed away last week at the age of 68 due to pancreatic cancer. Frankie was the drummer for Quiet Riot. Back in '83 when Metal Health came out they were my favorite band.

RIP Frankie and thanks for the music.

Sorry to hear this.
Quiet Riot were a part of the soundtrack of my teenage years.

I'm glad to see I'm not the only one. Come on feel the Noize was their first hit ... huge. And then Metal Health became our anthem. Quiet Riot was the first metal band to reach #1 on the billboard chart.

Frankie is playing along with Kevin DuBrow and Randy Rhoads now.
