Default Wound hole pickup for small body acoustic

I am new to this forum. I am looking for a sound hole pickup for my Alvarez Delta OO. I play mostly finger picking blues on that and don't want a permanent install. Just something I can pop in, when I want to bring that guitar to open mic.

Hi ftgjr1969,

I’ve used a DeArmond 260 for that exact purpose. My J 50 has no electronics.

I’m thinking you’d have to search Reverb to snag one. They have both a humbucker and a piezo. I bought mine sometime around 1990.

I hope others can suggest something in current production.

Hi again. Try the sub forum on acoustic amplification. There are more choices.

See this old thread— https://www.acousticguitarforum.com/...d.php?t=347017

LR Baggs M1 Active is a good sound hole pickup that is easily installed removed. You can just keep the wire on the outside running down over the pick guard.
