The Fairfield and Hampton are right next to one another, probably share parking lots!

NEW LUTHIER making first B.I.G. appearance, John Osthoff will be coming to B.I.G. this year. I thank John for moving his schedule around to be able to come on short notice. He will have 3-4 guitars there for us to try and to take home!

Check out his steampunk build if you have not had the time yet! Amazing work.

Thanks Tom so much for inviting me. I am honored and excited to be coming to the show. Being a last minute sub, I don't have a guitar built specifically for this show but I do have a few new (well not used) guitars that I plan to bring along including the twins, an OM and 000 12 fret both Italian Spruce and Brazilian Rosewood with 45 styling.

Thanks again Tom and I look forward to catching up with some friends and making some new ones.

The twins are currently at Guitar Gallery in Nashville. Robin as gaciously agree to send them over to Texas so they can been seen and played in person by those attending.

Although Lance Allen can make any guitar sound good you see Lance playing them here:

That guitar is simply stunning. The burst is perfect, really brings out the dynamics of the woods. Great photos also. I am looking forward to seeing this in person!

Many thanks, guys. This guitar has been percolating since the trio of test guitars from 2 years back. One of which was a Birdís eye maple OM. I think that was my favorite of the three. This hard maple performs more like a rosewood than do the softer maples, so yesówe are hoping you will try this instrument, and ďseeĒ with your own ears.
Thanks again,
Steve

I'll chime in with the same. An absolutely gorgeous guitar. Everything exquisitely done. The burst just warms my heart. Guess I better get my wallet ready for a hit.

Wow! I love the color! what a beautiful instrument. I can't wait to see it in person and hear what that birdseye maple gives to the sound of the guitar.

Thank you fellas! John Long was here today at our shop and had a chance to play this new 000-12. He opined that it was the THIRD best guitar to come out of our shop. He then claimed the top two spots were held by his guitars. So if you trust Johnís ear, and judgment, then you just might enjoy this instrument.

But if you donít, then itís Johnís fault.
