Default 2003 Taylor NS72ce (Fishman "Barn Door") Question

Quick question if anyone knows. The electronics on my 2003 Taylor NS72ce recently went out and I am thinking about replacing them with the K&K nylon string pickups. That will leave the "barn door" useless. I honestly have no problem leaving it in there as a dummy, but I was thinking about having a cover made. I haven't taken the Fishman out yet and I would like to get the cover made so I will have it ready when I do. Does anyone know the size of the hole when you take the Fishman controls out? Not the size of the bezel on the outside, but the actual hole in the guitar.

Some folks have turned the barn door holes into sound ports. There’s a thread on the General Discussion about sound ports and a picture of a guitar with sound port that started as a barn door hole.
