Default New strings on my Eastman archtop

After reading some discussions in the archtop subforum here I decided to try a set of D'Addario EJ21 (Nickel round wound electric strings - .012-.052 jazz light wound 3rd).

I had some flat wound strings on the guitar before this, and they had been on there for a while, so this was a nice change. The new strings brought the guitar to life.

I just put up a new thread in Show & Tell of "Georgia On My Mind" with the new strings on the guitar. The guitar was recorded both acoustically and through the pickup directly into my DAW, but most of what you hear in the video is from the pickup so maybe the effect of the strings is not terribly obvious.

I thought it was a fun experiment to try something new, even a challenging song!
