Yamaha F335
Does anyone have experience with the Yamaha F335 acoustic guitar? MF has them on sale for $119.99, and I am tempted to try one. I have read that they have close string spacing and a narrow neck. Any opinions on these Yamahas?
I already own an FG-800 with a K&K Mini that I'm happy with, but this one is tempting. Last edited by Mr Bojangles; 08-30-2019 at 04:49 AM. Reason: change |

Lower end model...the one you own should be superior. Look for the OM's that they offer...I had one, real nice guitar with 1 3/4" neck. better choice in my opinion. My FG730s is and has been my go to guitar for ten years now.

I realize that it is a lower end model than my FG-800. I already own a Martin OM-28V that doesn't get much playing time because I like Dreads. I just want to hear other users' opinions on the Yamaha F335.

The Yamaha F335 was the guitar that introduced me to guitar playing. GC had it on Christmas special for $89. It's the same size as your FG800; body, neck and string spacing. In every way, it's like playing you 800 but with a thinner sound because of the laminate top.
If you are looking for something that will be care-free and will take a licking and keep on ticking, it would be a good guitar to get! |
