Default Neck Projection Question

I have a neck question that I hope I can get some guidance on. On the high E side of the neck, with a straight edge on the frets, I hit the bridge at about an 1/8 of an inch below the top of the bridge. On the low E side, the straightedge is perfect with the top of the bridge. Is this something I should concern myself with?

So are you asking about the neck alignment or the neck projection?

Is the action higher on the treble side vs. the bass side?

Yes, neck projection, when I run a straightedge on top of the frets, I hit the bridge on the low E about 1/8” below the top of the bridge. On the high E side it hits perfectly on top of the bridge. BTW the guitar is a Yamaha LS 26.

Is your bridge thinner on the treble end than it is on the bass end?

The neck could be twisted or leaned over in relation to the fretboard. If it's bad enough you can sight down the fretboard and tell. If it's almost not noticeable, you can use machinist's levels, one at the bridge and one across the fretboard. Then try to get both level at the same time. If they can't be leveled together, then somethings off.
