Wow! Beautiful colors from New England, Colorado, and the Sangre De Cristo Mountains!
Our colors in the Pacific Northwest are fairly muted compared to these photos. We don't have a lot of maples, which really add color, and alder trees just tend to turn a rather dull yellow. Around our home we have a lot of Japanese maple trees and they turn beautiful colors, but every shot looks like something from Home and Garden Magazine because our house is in it. Thanks to all for sharing their wonderful photos! - Glenn

Thanks for the great pics, folks. My favorite time of year! Here's a few shots I took today around home (if I got this pic thing figured out ok). Time to put all the summer stuff away and start picking up leaves! Good fun.

These are all so fabulous. Too early for anything too dramatic yet here in Northern California but I am originally from Midwest and fall is the season that I miss the most. Thanks for sharing all these wonderful photos!!
