I’m interested...
1) is nut width 42 or 45mm? 2) running a straight edge down fretboard where does it meet at bridge? 3) does it need frets or a dressing? I play for a living around 200 shows a year and have been through several MIJ Taks and I’m in the market for one in good shape as my main one is fading. I’m not a fan of the Cool Tube at the volumes I play so I would have to buy a CT4BII if I bought this guitar. However, my three Taks have pinless bridges which I prefer and one has 45mm nut which I also prefer. Let’s talk further... Thanks, eric

Looks like 42.5 nut width. Here are specs.

Thanks for the specs buddy... I know the Tak line pretty well but couldn't find the specs on this one. Very few MIJ Taks with 45mm nut; P7NC, CP7MO-TT, EF75 and the 2005 LTD Cattail which I currently own and use as my backup. My main P3NC has seen better days LOL due to harsh tropical environment, refrets, and my beating it like a drum.
I have to think a bit about this TAN76: Pros: OM, pinless bridge, no pickgard, solid spruce/solid EIR (I prefer sapeale b/s but EIR is no deal breaker) Cons: 42mm nut, Cooltube, needs fret dressing plus I'll have to sink $3-400 into it to make it stage ready for me (CT4BII preamp plus fret dressing) Cooltube is nice for low volume and studio work however it lacks headroom and eats batteries... I keep a CTP-2 for backup and studio. Also I need a pic of neck angle where straight edge meets bridge.

Please also post a photo of a straight edge running down fretboard to bridge to see where they meet. All this info along with the previous info let’s me know how much money I’ll have to spend getting this guitar stage ready. I know I’ll have to dress the frets for sure. Plus I’ll have to buy a CT4BII preamp. So just on those two things I know I’m not at paying $900 just to be up front. I also don’t care for the 42mm nut but Takamine makes only a few 45mm nut model, one of which I own so I may have to just deal with the narrow nut.
