Default Get rhythm when you get the blues (rhythm training apps)

My rhythm has been unfortunately rough for a while now, but learning blues has really brought that to a forefront, so I have gotten a couple of rhythm training apps. I like them both but I think my favorite so far is the "complete rhythm training course" does anyone have any experience on the efficacy of these kinds of apps?

The 'app' that world-class and humble musicians alike have used for the past couple centuries is the metronome. Works really well with music you already know or drills & exercises, take your pick. There's all kinds of ways to employ it. 4 clicks/measure(4/4 time) is generally too much info; clicks on beats 1 & 3 is a very common way to use one. 2 & 4, a little harder to get started, is also useful. After you're firing well on 2 clicks/measure, try it on just the 1 beat every measure.
