Default Looking for my first Classical guitar

I started playing 2 years ago, I'm mainly playing fingerstyle and starting to become interested in classical fingerstyle music. My first song that got me interested was Canon in D. I want to keep the price low because I'm not sure how I will like a nylon string guitar. I'm seriously looking at the Cordoba C5. Any others out there that fit the bill that I should look at? Thanks

A lot of players, including me, like cordoba guitars quite a bit in terms of what you get for what you spend.

How about a “crossover” as a gateway drug into classical?

I’ve had this:

Cort CEC-1 for just over a month. Very pleased with it so far.

If you find an Alvarez Yairi CY-116 in the $500 range, if you change your mind, the depreciation on Yairi guitars seems to have leveled.
If you choose to stick with it, you have a beautifully built instrument, if not, your only cost is probably shipping...

My wife bought me a C5 for Christmas. Although I'm not a classical player I really enjoy the tone, when I manage to hit a string correctly,

Get a Cordoba c10 Spruce. It sounds better than a lot of other classicals under 1k.
