I disagree with their electrics. I have a few and they punch FAR above their sub $200 price point.

Do not forget they make pedals too. They list their Harley Benton acoustics as being their top sellers.

I suspect Harley Benton to be a Thomann's brand : Thomann is the number one online seller in Europe for musical instrumenrs. They started early, offering very good prices and reliability, and made their way to success : they offer about everything, have a huge choice, and know their job.

There are in China factories, plants and contractors who build guitars for whoever want them to, and undeer whatever brand's name they wish...
These guitars are pretty much the same; one gives to the factory features and specs they want, and that factory will build the guitars under that brand's name. I suspect that it is what Thomann does (though I've never read anything about that).

I've known a guy who had a Thomann bass, and that was good for its price. Instruments for beginners tnat are worth the money they cost it seems. Pretty interesting...

Yes. I bought a CLF-200NT small body thing a couple of years ago. It's pretty enough and the spec sounds good on paper. The guitar itself is fairly well made but sounds like a cheap guitar-which is what it is.
I bought it on a whim thinking the £150 I spent was worth the gamble. It wasn't and they are best avoided.

I don't know about their acoustics, but electrics have a good reputation for a budget brand. Many people use them as a modding platform, upgrade pickups, hardware, etc.

I think I read somewhere that they are manufactured by Cort(who build guitars for just about everybody) but don't quote me on that.

Here is the link to the acoustics.

Edit: most Harley Benton models are between 60 and 200 EUR.
