The Guild is my porch guitar and the Martin was an anniversary present from my wife back in 2005 so that stuff is staying.

Not sure about a Lowden though. I think I have my Irish covered with the Avalon and now the McIlroy. Plus my wife is Irish too. I have enough County Cork attitude to last me a while

The Avalon could go in favor of a Santa Cruz FS at some point if the McIlroy is what I think it will be. We'll see about that situation next year. I have to give my wife time to recover from all my wheeling and dealing.

I like your way of “thinning”, Barry. But I don’t think my wife will endorse the use of that term for what we used to call, “one in, one out”.

That McIroy looks SWEET. And I love walnut as a tone wood.

I’m really looking forward to your thoughts on the McIlroy compared to your Avalon. I almost bought that Avalon a month or so before you did! But the smaller A size McIlroy spoke to me more.

I put 3 guitars on consignment at a local guitar store (30 miles away) yesterday.

Morris B-50-12-string
Guild F-412
Epiphone EJ-200

Giving serious consideration to ordering a mahogany Iris ND-200 from the US if these 3 sell quickly.

Yes, but the Larrivee is gone too, so........

Congrats Barry. I’ll venture that you’re going to be really pleased with it.

Bruce, you're selling both of your 12s?

Just not playing them much - I will probably regret selling the Guild F-412, it sounded glorious in the shop - but I know what to buy if I ever get the 12-string urge again.

My SJ-200 has spoiled me for tone but I'm thinking a mahogany Iris ND-200 might make a nice contrast - love this one.

That's a nice burst Bruce. I bet it sounds great.

I bought another guitar that should be shipping today. So, not exactly thinning the herd, but in my mind it sort of is
Re-arranging the herd, perhaps.

I would like to try a Guild D-40 Traditional in sunburst.

I prefer used over new, but might have to buy a new one. Seems the guys that have 'em ain't letting them go.

Congrats as well. I looked hard at that one the other day as I've been wanting to pick up a McIlroy for some time. I backed off though as my Pre*War is still awaiting startup and I committed to buying no more until it arrives. Enjoy
