Default Needed a desk top Amp for practice..Look what I got :)

https://www.sweetwater.com/store/det...studio-monitor

It's more of a Monitor but it works great for when you want to plug in and not haul around a Amp

I plugged my Epiphone ES339 into a Zoom G1-Four into my desktop mixer into the Yamaha and it worked great....

Haven't tried it for vocals and guitar but will soon

The only thing I find weird is the volume.....If you have the volume up and headphones plugged in you get sound from the speaker and the headphones, if you turn the volume down to "0" you only get sound into the headphones
It's a nice concept that I'll need to get use too..

But anyway as a Monitor it should work great for anything you throw at it and the 30 watts gets loud enough for a music room..

It replaced a JBL 104 anemic Speaker...

I’m curious why you went this route instead of something like a Yamaha THR amp?

https://www.sweetwater.com/yamaha-thr/series

I have a THR10II and love it for both electric and acoustic/electric.

The Yamaha amp doesn't have a vocal channel and that is important for a lot of folks (me included).

I assume your headphones must have their own volume control? or how do you adjust headphone volume?

It has an XLR/1/4 combo on front... Mixer into it Or
one 1/4 line in one back for Instrument... XLR front for mic
1/4 out to amp if needed
Headphone on back
1/8in in I use this for my computer sound
I'll probably end up with:
TC Helicon Perform-VG into Mixer or straight to speaker through the XLR(Acoustic and Vocal)
For Electric.. G1-Four into mixer or into 1/4 jack on back

Are you using the line out as a headphone socket?

The product you linked in your first post does not have a headphone jack on the back.

There are several powered monitors that do have front panel headphone jacks, some with front volume controls, too. I sounds like a different product might meet your needs better.

The THR acoustic model has a vocal channel and a headphone out and an aux line. It’s much clearer and louder than you would ever imagine given its size and speaker configuration. Expensive? Yes, absolutely. Worth it? Yes, absolutely.

Probably the best one would be the Roland CM30 but I didn't want to spend $300 ..
I'll probably let the dust settle on Christmas and go for that one
