Default Taylor GS7 (Cedar/Indian Rosewood) w/ Fishman Matrix Infinity - *No longer for sale*

No longer selling.

Taylor's excellent GS body size with cedar top and Indian rosewood back and sides. No longer being made. Fishman Matrix Infinity VT Pickup+Preamp professionally installed. Clear pickguard also professionally installed. One owner guitar purchased new - will include OHSC and receipt + paperwork. OHSC in very good condition except part of the locking latch is missing.

Condition is exceptional without even taking age into consideration. No cracks, dings, scrapes, or scratches. Frets are excellent with only minimal signs of light usage. Properly maintained and humidified since new. Setup is great and the guitar needs nothing but a new home. Trade for a Gibson AJ, J45, Eastman dread + cash, open to trades for electric guitars as well. Please show me+describe what you have in your first message. Ty!

These are great guitars!
I remember playing one at a Taylor road show when I started my guitar journey. I recall the tone was warm, lush and full. IMHO, no one does cedar better than Taylor.
Someone will be very happy with this one.
Best of luck with your sale, and Merry Christmas!

My 2009 GS7 like this one... is my most favorite Taylor that i have owned... for a very decent price!
And... many compliments about how warm it sounds, for a Taylor!

Excellent for fingerstyle with its warm cedar tone... with the deep and bold GS body tone with Indian Rosewood back and sides.. it excels at its mission!

Thanks so much! And yes, you're right. This and the GS5 are both what I would describe as cozy warm blanket guitars. There's something comfortable about them that's hard to describe.

Default Sweet, sweet, sweet

I have tried and tried to figure out how to buy this guitar, but a recent guitar purchase and gift buying for Christmas has made those efforts fruitless. As many of you know, I am a huge Taylor fan. I bought my first one 29 years ago. I have owned and/or played about every size and wood combo by Taylor over the years, including two R Taylors. The GS body size is the very best Taylor design ever (I ordered my first R Taylor with the GS body size). The sweetest sound I ever heard on a Taylor was one built of Western Red Cedar over Rosewood. The amazing thing about this is the guitar shop had just gotten two of these beauties in that day. I played them both for a long time and one was just as good as the other. I left the shop, listed a couple of things for sale, moved a little money around, determined to go back and buy one of those Taylors. When I returned to the shop the next day, one was gone and the other on hold (it sold too). So, if you want a fantastic guitar, grab this before I can figure out how to make it mine. I have no affiliation with the seller, these guitars are just that good. Best of luck to the seller and the buyer (hope it’s me)!

I hope so too, man. Sorry I'd hold it for you if I weren't strapped for cash.
