Default Gibson JB Sig, rare, 12-fret, 1-13/16" nut

SOLD, 18 August...

Moderator-Please assist in expanding photos, I tried and tried (I'm a tech-dimwit)...

For sale in Collectible Condition, rare, a legendary instrument with a genius back-story, a near-mint Gibson Jackson Browne Signature Model 1. Priced to sell at $3,750 including shipping and insurance… photos below. (cleaning swirls are the only defect… have it pro-polished to return to mint).

The person who buys this is looking specifically for the sweet yet powerful tonality of a large body 12-fret guitar, in a wide fret format. If you don’t know the story of the Gibson JB Sig, it is well worth the time to learn about the unique 5-year development collaboration between Jackson Browne and a legendary Gibson luthier, the prodigy Ren Ferguson. I’ll let the masters speak for themselves:

Ren Ferguson, in his own words, fascinating 9 minute video story: https://www.youtube.com/watch?v=bUj3hyMaZZs

Jackson Browne playing the Gibson JB Sig… a little masterclass on how to pair the human voice with a perfectly matched guitar: https://www.youtube.com/watch?v=yufoq3T-z_w
Just for fun and to showcase his brilliance, my favorite Jackson Browne song, played and recorded live in Santa Barbara, CA: https://www.youtube.com/watch?v=QKlByUdDEgQ (recorded before the JB Sig development)

Gibson Specs: Read the overall description in the Gibson catalog for a complete listing of all physical specs, and the difference between the Model 1 (no pickup, straight acoustic) and the Model A (Trance Amulet pickup). http://aws2.gibson.com/Products/Acou...Signature.aspx

Smile Pup?

Does this beauty have the Trance? And I suggest description of the neck shape...

Complete Gibby specs are notoriously difficult to access at times!

Someone will be stoked

Hi Paul,

No, the Trance is on the Model A... this is Model 1, pure acoustic... easy to add the Trance if that is what someone wants.

Describing a neck shape is subjective, but I would call this a D-shape similar to the modern J45.
