Default NGD: Rainsong CH-OM 1000NS. (first CF guitar)

Well never played a CF guitar before I have to say I am impressed.

Consider me a CF convert!

I'll admit at first the guitar had a buzz but after a quick search I realized the most likely culprit was lose bolts that secure the bridge. Sure enough a couple turns if a wrench and viola the buzz was gone. Probably came loose on its long bumpy UPS ground journey from Portland Oregon to Florida.

This guitar has the clarity of my Waterloo WL-K....not quite the volume or dynamic range but it's close.....and a bit overall warmer sound more close to my Iris AB but obviously not the depth the small Jumbo has.

I'm just stoked I have a guitar now I can take anywhere that I'm thrilled with how it plays and most importantly how it sounds and responds.

Thanks for all the input AGF forum members and time answering my questions.

I'll try to get some pics up!!

Congrats on the new RainSong. A lot to like with that guitar. It should be a new tone and nice compliment to the other guitars in your photos. Enjoy!

Looks like a perfect fit for your collection - three very tasty instruments there.

It will be interesting to hear your impressions after you’ve spent some more time with it.

There is a reason this guitar won the "AGF Guitar of the Year" award back in 2012 (well, that was the Shorty but this guitar is exactly the same in build material and scale with the only differences in aesthetic appointments)

Congrats!

Congrats! A beautiful trio there. Not sure about FL, but here in the arid SW it is so nice to have a guitar I can leave out just about anywhere with no worries. Enjoy your new RS.........

Very nice.

Used, or really old "old stock" as these were discontinued several years ago.

You have one of the newer ones. They added the (IMO very classy) dual sharks at the 12th fret about halfway through manufacturing.

I have the Parlor version, and it's slightly older with no sharks.

Congrats and welcome to the club! I came full circle on the RainSong's, starting with them, moving on to other brands but now back to them. My Black Ice dread has surprisingly become my main gigging guitar.
