A Fantastic "Repair"
This is too good not to share. This is a 30s Gibson L-0 that I saw a short time back and took pictures of. See if you can figure out what's going on.
The guitar, with the classic gibson "5 screw" nylon string bridge. And here we have some bridge plate "reinforcement" it's literally just sitting on top of the brace in the back that's visible. Looks like a piece of pine / fir tree used.
People do what they need to do, to keep there guitars going, I have seen some incredible things in my time of repairing as I am sure most others have as well. Steve

I had a Brazilian Rosewood parlor that someone attempted to fill cracks and a hole with plaster! They fortunatly gave up "repairing" it at that point. Needles to say, the plaster was easy to remove
