Default Collings D2H 1 ¾” Sold

Stock Collings D2H with the 1 ¾” nut width option SOLD

All other specs should be standard, as per the Collings website
The original case is included -- case “candy” too if that matters.

Near Mint: Very, very clean, with no dents, dings, scratches, or any visible fret wear. I’m not saying “mint” because close examination of the guitar will show that it’s been lightly played -- some faint pickguard swirls and the like, but the condition is better than excellent.

Why am I selling? How long a story do you want? I bought this guitar knowing full well that I was contemplating shoulder replacement surgery, and that I favored an OM to begin with. It’s a terrific guitar -- everything one might want from a Collings Dread -- but it just wasn’t played that much before my surgery (back in 2016) and it hasn’t been played much since my recovery either. For a year and a half I’ve been telling myself that things might change. I was not desperate for the space or the cash, and I'm still not, but I think that’s long enough: somebody should play it and I might as well get something back out of it. The wife will think it a small miracle that I'm selling a guitar without having bought another one.

Maybe somebody more familiar with posting photos can help me out here -- when I look at the ad, I can see two photos -- a couple of emails I've received in response seem to suggest that these are not showing up.

I suppose that, in the meantime, I could email photos, but as I said in the ad, I'd prefer to look for a local sale, at least until the weather is a little better.

It appears your picture is pointing directly from your email account. I'd suggest a source like www.imgur.com to host those pictures for you.

When you post, under the text box there's a command called "Attach Files."

Charter members can attach files directly from their computer. They won't show up on a preview, but they will when you submit.

Weekend bump.

Back in town and trying one more weekend bump for local sales.

If there's no local interest, I'll go down the list of pms I have from non-local board members from the first posting and see who might still be interested. I've obtained a box and will look into what's involved in shipping.

Last bump (I think).

I'm starting to go down the list of pms I had from out-of-town folks who expressed interest/made offers. I'm going to head over to UPS to get a shipping estimate. Then I'll try to contact those interested in the order they contacted me.

Bump for the new header, as well as for the weekend.
