Default Four Seasons guitars

I'd seen these posted before but hadn't heard them played.

Interesting, great looking and sounding guitars but for what they are worth (I seem to remember reading somewhere about $30K each) I think my gas is safe.

Your $ memory is off by a whole lot, but your gas is even safer now: The complete set was purchased by The Metropolitan Museum of Art for their permanent collection.

I played all of them at John's shop while he was building them, and afterwards.

Regards,
Howard Emerson

True functional Art. The music Anthony Wilson wrote for them is outstanding, as were the guitarists who joined him for the performance (Julian Lage, Chico Pinheiro and Steve Cardenas)

Wow, thanks for that link. I've been a fan of Anthony Wilson for quite a long time. That video shows off a side of his playing that I was not too familiar with.

The guitars sounds wonderful. I'm going to say, I liked the sound of the Autumn guitar the best...but they all sound wonderful.

Having just ventured into archtop guitars by purchasing my first one, I am blown away by those four beauties and the masterful playing. Those are the Mt. Everest of guitars. Thanks.
