Default Suggested pieces

Would people like to offer up suggestions for pieces that would really benefit from an acoustic guitar treatment or revisit?

Here are mine:

1. Man of the World -

Don't think I've ever heard a fully acoustic guitar version of this (sounds like they used some acoustic on the original recording but mostly electric)...

2. Faure's Pavane

Don't think I've ever heard an acoustic guitar version but could be very compelling.

3. Day Without Love

You would really need to slow this down (probably work it half time) and give it a much more subtle treatment but the melody is fantastic.

Regarding Faure's piece there are guitar recordings out there, for example:

I thought there might be but I hadn't come across them before!

When I checked on your link (which I thought a v nice interpretation) I saw there was one by Per-Olov Kindgren who I really rate. His was interesting because it was more a guitarist's interpretation of the original. It didn't sound like it was slavishly following the original.

Personally I am thinking a guitar duo might nail this piece.
