Great Sand Dunes National Park
If you visit Great Sand Dunes National Park and drive past the Visitor Center, you'll continue on a sandy 4WD road to the Sand Creek Trail trailhead. If it's very dry, the sand is extra soft and it is suggested that you let some air out of your tires. There's an air pump available to use on your way out.
The Sand Creek trail goes miles back into the Great Sand Dunes Wilderness. The beginning of the trail rises pretty quickly to give a nice view of the dunes from the side most visitors never see. EDIT click on photo for a higher quality version, this one looks pretty rough. Great Sand Dunes National Park by Paul Leach, on Flickr

Just got a Sony a7iii for it's 4k, HDR video, but it's a beast of a camera too. I have had a Nikon D750 for a couple years which I'm also keeping because I have a bunch of Nikon Lenses, but the Sony is now slouch either.
Some shots with the Sony: Just edited these black and whites I took with the Nikon too: I really like black and white.

Bought a new camera last week, here's a couple of shots.
Panasonic Lumix DC-FZ80 4K. Here's an early morning panorama shot taken from my late father-in-laws house in Hobart, Tasmania.

I don’t have the gear for such beautiful pictures but did just remember that the removable USB hard drive in my desk contained backups of early childhood pictures and movies of my kids going back to the birth of my eldest son. By rule I don’t put them online so I’ve been taking a trip down memory lane.

Funny you should ask ... I haven't any plans to use it!
I really liked the 20-1200 focal length, panorama feature and price. It does allow you to shoot a 4K burst of footage and then view it frame by frame and select stills. You can also take 3 shots and alter the depth of focus then combine the 3 shots. I wear reading glasses so I need a good viewfinder as I can't just glance at the rear screen. Yesterday I thought the camera was broken. I couldn't get it to focus on anything. Cleaned it, turned it off and on. Finally I noticed the 'diopter adjustment dial' for the viewfinder was not in the correct position for me - must have bumped it when I packed the camera last - I re-adjusted it and everything came back into focus. Lesson learned!

Those are features of the camera sound cool. The 3 different depth of focus and combining is known as focal stacking. It's great for macro shots.
