C6 lap steel chords
I've been used to Open D and E Chords for years to play rock and blues. Since the pedal steel player retired from performing, I've decided to add the C6 sound to a duo.
I've looked all over the IntetWeb for chord shapes. I have the basics figured out. Who else uses C6? |

I used C6 for years, but then went to A6. Like C6, the major, minor, and 7th chords are a breeze, but pretty much anything else requires partial chords or bar slants.
Eventually I broke down and got a pedal steel. Now bar slants seem easy by comparison! |

Usually an S.I.T. A6 set (.015p, .017p, .022p, .026w, .030w, .034w, .042w, .056w) but I've also used their E7 set (.015p, .018p, .022p, .030w, .034w, .038w, .046w, .056w)
