I am currently using the Boss WL 50 system on my live remote board and am looking for a transmitter/ reciever system for my mic that will not interfere. I notice Joyo makes one at 5.8 but the reviews commonly note low output as a complaint. I use the AKG C555L headphone mic with the B29L beltpack that has XLR out. I just took a number of bookings in aged care centers for 2024 and would love to be able to move freely around the room.
Anyone here found a system that does not interfere with the Boss WL 50? Thanks!

The XVIVE U3 are on sale now. They have 6 switchable channels in the 2.4 ghz band. Kliq makes a comparable product called Airlink in the 5.8ghz band. Not many reviews on it.

Thank you - I am less likely to run into trouble with the Kliq unit, having already unsuccessfully tried 24 ghz products from Boss and Sennheiser. There should be no chance of cross interference with the Kliq. I had heard of them, not available in Australkia, but I did find it on Amazon.

I’m a bit surprised you’re having a problem.
We have the Boss WL50, another cheapo wireless guitar bug, two sets of IEM (Senn and Xvive) and now and again the Lekato mw1 and, on top of all that, wireless iPad mixer control with an Apple Express router. So long as devices are physically well spaced and some attention given to channel choosing we have no problems. I always carry cables because no wireless system is guaranteed but the only time I’ve needed them has been when batteries haven’t been charged.

I hear people all the time asking this question. Not only for a wireless, but in every aspect of life.
There is a reason, pro wireless systems cost well into the thousands of dollars. People looking for a "good" wireless? Question they should be asking is. How much am I willing to spend on a wireless? |

“advances meant goods were produced in huge numbers and therefore more cheaply. For example, the price of cars dropped from $940 in 1920 to $290 in 1929.” BBC Also, we aren’t buying Ferraris because we only need Toyotas (and you can’t get a whole lot of PA in a Ferrari anyway).

The NUX 5.8 system has worked well for me and the charging case is a brilliant idea.

In the end, locally I found the Aroma ARC1 5.8 ghz wireless mic system, which I am fairly certain is the same as the KLIQ system you mentioned. On sale it was $109 Australia, or about $72 USD. If it does not work out I have not spent too much. I will get back here with some feedback once I have had some time to test it live.
