Michael - I hope we are able to meet up in 2013. That'd be great! Yes, I did get a chance to check out the Hive Ukes. Jake's both was right next to Tom Doerrs. Very nice instruments.

mcozma, I hope to get some nice recordings made of the uke, hopefully video's too.

Rollie, I'm sure Tiny Tim would love this uke I think we are in for a uke revival. It seems like there's a lot of folks playing them these days. I think that's a good thing. Did you listen to the podcast the Fretboard Journal did on Mya Moe ukes the other day?

Kindly,
Danny

Michael - hauntingly beautiful.. thanks much for that - both the composition and the performance.

Best,

Thanks Phil, it's the first thing I've written on uke and I'm really enjoying the re-entrant tuning!

Paul sent really nice glamor shots today. The uke is just stunning!

It's in the mail and on it's way to me.

Here are the photos...

Kindly,
Danny

The Uke is here! It actually arrived the day before Thanksgiving and I have just been slammed with family visiting for the holiday, etc.

I have to say, Paul just nailed this uke. It took less than a second to realize it exceeded my expectations and it's even better than I remember. Paul's an extremely talented guy. I've had an absolute blast playing it these last few days and i'm looking forward to enjoying it for many many years to come.

I'll have some nice photos and recordings soon

Kindly,
Danny
