Default We're just waiting, my first original song

After (too) many years of playing and wanting to write my own music I've finally had the guts to put one together. This is something that I've been sort of dreading doing and therefore put off I think.

Not mainly because of what others might think of the music but mainly what I'll think of the music. I think I feel like I should be able to write good music and I have ideas in my head, so what if they don't come out the way I want them to? Also I'm in to so many different styles of music, I'm as much of a progressive metal fan as I am a John Mayer fan. So i'm always conflicted in what to write.

Anyway, I figured that the only way to get good at something is to do it right? Do it over and over again until you get it so sound the way it does in your head.

So here goes, my first ever complete song. Be gentle...And sorry for going on about it!

Very nice job, Simon! As Barry notes, that is quite catchy! Well done!
