FS: 99 Taylor 514ce 25th anniversary
Hey everyone, I'm selling my 99 Taylor 514ce. Has "25th anniversary" inlaid in the headstock and also has abalone rosette and also abalone around the top. Cedar top and mahogany back and sides. All solid wood. It also has the adjustable NT neck (Not all 99's have it but this one does). from what I found, there were only about 250 of them made. It's in players condition with some pick marks and a couple of small dings on the top. There are no cracks or damage, just play wear. This guitar sounds and plays awesome. I'm freeing up some cash for some home improvements and I'm playing more electric lately. The original case is in fair condition. All latches work fine. The handle on the case has been replaced with a rope handle by the previous owner. This is a great player grade guitar! I'm asking $1350 shipped/paypal'd. This is A LOT of guitar for the money. You can email me at [email protected] if you have questions. Thanks!

Probably should have mentioned that it has the fishman prefix stereo blender pickup with the internal mic that can be blended with the under saddle pickup. Sounds very good amplified

If I had the means, this guitar would be on its way to me. I used the same model when recording my Castlerea CD, and it was the best Taylor I ever owned.
The cedar/mahogany combo is fantastic for fingerstyle... the perfect balance of warmth and clarity for recording and performing. The additional abalone on the top (which I believe is designated in the official model number, 514ce-ab) makes the guitar a real looker, too. My 514ce-ab is one of the guitars I most regret parting with... so someone is going to be really happy with this one, especially at such a great price. Wish it was me! |

I've had several trade offers, however I'm not really looking to trade as I need to free up some cash.

I have this exact guitar and I love it. It's a cut above any other Taylor I've played. Jim Tozier is right, the Cedar/Mahogany combo delivers a wonderful warmth and depth for fingerstyle. It's a good strumming guitar as well.
And the price makes it a near steal. I don't expect this guitar to be for sale for long. Phil |
