Default 1957 Gibson J-50 (ON HOLD)

Up for sale is an awesome 1957 Gibson J-50. Hereís the video demo:

https://youtu.be/935NgfvpbRM

This J-50 is loud, punchy, and super easy to play. In addition to being the quintessential strummer, it flatpicks as well as any Gibson Iíve tried! It has a very powerful sound. Iíve strongly considered keeping this one, but a Ď50s D-28 beckonsÖ

The guitar is also in excellent structural shape, with only the typical pickguard crack (which has been repaired). Lots of surface wear, but that only gives it more character. It has been refretted, and the tuners and bridge pins have been replaced. Original finish and pickguard (more of a reddish color, which is my favorite look from this era).

Asking $SOLD (pending approval) w/ free ground shipping. Not considering trades. Brown hardshell case included.

Of all the demos you've done recently, THIS Gibson is my favorite hands down. Just incredibly rich with harmonic nuance and character. Sounds like 2 or 3 guitars playing. Really really nice! But it has a 1 11/16 nut in this era, correct?

Hey brencat, yes this J-50 is a special one! It does have the typical 1 11/16" nut width. Let me know if you have any other questions about it!
