I have had 5 Taylors (one of which was a prototype). Only one of them that I know of had writing - a 2014 fall limited 712e 12 fret. It has "712 fltd" penciled on it.

They make erasers on the ends of pencils still, I think, that can remove those numbers if that's your preference. I would have already done it before being bugged enough about it to bring it here. I'm a risk taker.
