Welcome Chloe!
Very cool that Emerald has someone to specifically keep an eye on the forums from time to time. I just received my custom X30 (similar to the June select series), and am really enjoying it. I'll send an email soon directly to yourself and Kevin. One thing that I will mention is, if you are shipping a guitar that has one of the clip-on tuners that you are now offering as an upgrade, I recommend taking the tuner and putting it in the storage compartment in the guitar case. What can happen and did happen to mine, is the tuner can break loose during shipping and roll around inside the case and scratch the guitar. In my case the tuner was inside the body of the guitar which is fine because no one can see any damage but somehow the battery separated from that and was underneath the guitar. I'm very impressed with build quality of my guitar and I'm loving it so far. Welcome.... and a very nice picture of you playing! Cheers... Todd in Chicago |

A beautiful person with a beautiful guitar, and matching colors! Nice introduction.
And so, any progress report on my thin-bodied, nylon strung, electric, X10 woody? |

Hi Chloe, I am looking forward to visiting next month and bringing Alistair the proof copy of our book. I hope he is pleased with it. I love the photo you included, I am rather partial to the red woody guitars, as I should be picking up my new red maple nylon X7 on the trip. Looking forward to meeting you and the rest of the Emerald team soon, and thank you for joining the forum. - Staci

Excellent Chloe! While I've never played a single Emerald much less seen one, what's not to love about these amazing gems? Since Emerald is direct only it is good to have this forum for communicating the brand. I'll certainly be interested.

Welcome Chloe!
You appear to be playing an X7, which makes you my kind of person. Had an X20 and an older model X7, liked the X7 sooo much that I ordered a newer model X7 woody and it combined the absolute best aspects of the other two. I love it so much, I sold everything else. It's all the acoustic guitar I need. And if you're not playing an X7, you're probably still my kind of person! And in the extremely unlikely chance you're somehow NOT my kind of person (can't imagine - and how would I even know?) welcome anyway, because it's all good... -Ray |

Greetings Chloe! I may have one of the oldest-vintage Emeralds around here - a center-hole X7 "Life" that Alistair apparently showed at the 2010 NAMM show (it was signed on the back, but many years of playing wore off Alistair's signature). While I still get palpatations at the sight of a beautiful wood guitar, I have definitely learned to appreciate the qualities of CF as well. I think you'll find folks here to be pretty welcoming.

Welcome, Chloe - nice to see you here, and to 'see' you here.
Probably a good thing that no standard Emerald finish matches my hair Also, it's good to note that we have active participation (or, at the very least, presence) from Emerald, Rainsong, Journey, Klos at least.
