"Photos on the way" stated in the posting. Some folks like to get the text specs up first and then go work on the photos/uploading.

These are absolute fantastic guitars, especially the New Vintage version.

I know, because I own one and it is willed to my son after I pass.

No affiliation with the seller, but this is stupid good deal on a KILLER guitar.

Free bump and GLWTS.

I own one and can attest to how good these guitars are. Mines not going anywhere.

I bought my Charis from this seller and transaction was super smooth and guitar is in as represented condition. It's a tone monster. Have no fears dealing with Doug, I'm sure this Gibby is stellar.

Thanks for the very kind words. I agree this Gibby is stellar in so many ways. The woods alone are awesome and produce such a clear and warm tone.

I am working on photos. I have used Photobucket before but its not working too well these days. Trying Imgur but cannot figure out for the life of me how to get photos to this thread for my guitar. Anyones help with Imgur would be greatly appreciated. I want to get the photos on board ASAP to show off this one. Photos are available by sending me a PM.

Right click on the picture in Imgur and click on "copy image address." Paste that address in the image box on your AGF listing.

After copying from Imgur and coming to AGF's "insert image" box, delete the highlighted "http://" before pasting the link. See if that solves the problem.

Photos posted........any marks or smudges are not on the guitar in the photos. They are the result of lighting and poor photography. Sorry. I am happy to email photos to anyone. Just PM me

If you type Gibson J-185 and the guitars serial number on YouTube it should come up with Greg Khoch's Wildwood demo.

That would be cool. J-185's and J-200's are similar but the differences are important. Of course the J-185's body is a bit smaller. The tone is more pronounced and pushed out. Its easier to play. It has more treble than the J-200 and so many many pros prefer it. Being on the road as a travelling musician, I do see more J-185's than J-200's. I have also seen well seasoned pickers put down a J-45 and prefer a J-185. Hope this goes into the hands of someone who will play it often and love it till it dies.
