Default Some Jazz I just enjoyed

I watched this Jazz music video earlier today and wanted to share it. It's ten minutes long and it was made in 1944. There are two tunes on it and I think they stood the test of time.

I first saw that in a music class in high school. I liked it then and now.

Lester Young, Barney Kessel, Harry Edison and Illinois Jacquet. Any record they played on is worth a listen. Of course, Lester's career and life suffered due to his alcoholism, but Prez was capable of a good solo on his worst days. He made some good music from '51-'59, it's worth seeking out. The other three had long and productive lives and careers, the Verve sessions they played on are among my favorites.
