Default Gibson Pics! Let's see em!

There have been quite a few NGD posts revolving around both new/old Gibsons!

Like many I just never really considered them until recently and then I fell head over heals for them!

I figured this might be a neat consolidated thread for new and old Gibby owners!

I'll guess I'll start! I purchased a used American Eagle LG2 about 2 months ago, which then was followed by a new J-45 Standard. I love them both!

Let's see YOUR new/old Gibsons!

At the moment these four. Waiting in the wings is a 1961 B45-12.

1960 J-200, 1957 CF-100E, 1942 J-50 (don't ask, there is a long story on this one), 1935 Capital J2.

Here are mine... by the way I am also babysitting an LG2-American Eagle that is my son’s. I love fingerpicking that in open G!
Anyways, J45, J50, Bird.

I’ve had four Bozeman acoustics - a J-15, Songwriter Studio Deluxe and two J-45s. All fine instruments. Stupidly sold my first 45 and almost instantly realized my mistake. So bought another one...this time upgraded with bone nut/saddle and unslotted bone pins. LOVE this beauty...and, as you can see, it’s a great sidekick for my D-41.

Well I 've been a vintage Gibson collector for many years now. 2 Banner LG2s, 1 1943 with maple back and sides and 1 1944 with mahogany b&s. Then this cherry burst 1965 J45 and last but not least is the 1934 L-Century

Some beautiful Gibsons already posted.

Here’s a photo of my Gospel and my Sheraton. The Sheraton isn’t a real Gibson, but it’s in the family and has Gibson on the truss rod cover. I’m also considering either a J45,J35 or LG2 purchase this summer.

Love my J-45. My only regret is that I waited so long to get one.

I have always been a Gibson kind of guy. I love my 2017 J-15, and my 2002 L-130. RUUgb2Xh.jpg784412760209_0_BG.jpg
