They're going to come out with V-bracing version 2.0 in a few years and it will correct the perceived flaws people have with V-bracing version 1.0.

And the early adopters will go and sell there V-brace 1.0 guitars, and there will be wailing and gnashing of teeth here by some about how their 1.0 guitars are no longer the latest and greatest and Taylor has made their guitars obsolete.

Ya know... I made my living as a photographer for about 30 years and have forgotten entirely about film emulsions (and H&D curves). The first 100,000 frames I shot as an amateur were B&W but don't remember much beyond all the darkroom work and using mostly Ilford products. Color? Tons of VPS- until I switched to Fuji Reala (until mistakenly they discontinued it). I've been into digital since 1996 and my last roll of film EXPIRED in 2001.

I knew you were close, but I didn't realize you were in my exact neck of the woods. I like that GC because of the staff that work there. They are always fair with me. Do you also shop at Music Gallery Inc.?

Music Gallery? Of course . I took lessons there a few years ago when I was just getting back into electric. Great shop! ... and Make'n and Guitar Works and CME and pretty much all of them. Chicago is a guitar Mecca. BTW, I love the pick selection at Guitar Works and some of the boutique guitars they carry both new and used.
