You could always grab a banjo tuner and add the 7th string. Martin used to offer a couple of the McGuinn signature 7 string models which had the G octave string.

i dont want a doubled up octave string i want 7 individual strings i plan to tune it DEADGBD

All-solid as well, or just the top? Is the 2+" nut an absolute 'must have'?

I would like all solid wood yes and any nut under 2" would be too small for me

For 3,800 US, and staying with your requirements, I'd have for myself a Nickerson FC3. Or for 500 US I'd consider the Agile fanfret.

That’s sort of a hard price point I think. You sort of have the low end option or the high end option. No middle of the road stuff that I know of.
