Default reverb pedal decisions

Hey all

Has anyone tried Nova Reverb, Hardwire, AFX fishman, and the Polara?

I'm having difficulty picking from these, and it's difficult for me to get a chance to have a side by side comparison with all of them at one time.

One thing that worries me about the AFX is that it may not sound so good on an electric, but I may get it if yall think it's worth getting this verb solely dedicated to acoustic. Otherwise, if you think one of the other pedals can do just as much and more than the AFX, I'll get that.

Default MXR M300 reverb

It's not on your list, but I recently picked up a MXR M300 reverb pedal (mostly for electric guitar use), and it is outstanding. Six really sweet reverb choices on it. You may want to check that one out as well.

A vintage BOSS RV-3 Digital Reverb/Delay gives you reverb, delay, or combinations of both. I never leave home without mine!

I have the mxr m300 which I picked up after I returned the hardwire. The hardwire was good but I like the MXR a lot better. Sounds great with acoustic or electric.

If money is no concern in buying a pedal, Strymon Big Sky Reverb Pedal http://www.strymon.net/bigsky/

Reverb pedals are digital and cannot tell what's plugged into it, as long as it has a pickup. While it depends on what kind of reverb you want, the Boss RV-6 and Polara are similar, but I always give the nod to Boss for the silent switch. To me, in a acoustic performance, silent switches are important. Also, I wouldn't get anything that is no longer made, since it may get lost or damaged and its easier to acquire a production pedal.

Hall of Fame or Blue Sky are two really great choices. Both sound fantastic with my acoustics and electrics.
