I am leaving for the Woodstock event tomorrow morning. I hope that some of you will attend, and that you will find time to say hello to me.

Was a long day of travel, but I am set-up at the show and settled into my digs at “The Inn by the Millstream” in Woodstock. Dinner at “the Blue Moon” was fine and they had a local IPA that seemed exceptional to me. Maybe I’m just having fun.

I was hoping to get there this year, but wound up with other commitments. Hope you have a successful show!

As I live in Switzerland, I won't be able to make it to the show, but I did put an IPA in the fridge that I will enjoy with my Sexauer OM this evening.

I will join you here in San Diego, but will have to “settle” for one of my John Kinnaird customs…. Teehee

Cheers

The show is over. I am in a Hilton in Albany, sitting by the water tower, waiting for a plane. 24 more hours before I hit home . . . And I am drinking an IPA, actually.

Sounds like the opening of a song.....! I hope, for your sake, it's not the cancelled plane blues.

My 11:47 am departure appears to be on time. D’ma: AGF denizen Tadol traveled with me this trip, and we made a solid connection with Ben Wilborn, all of us dining on Saturday with 2/5/1 (Bob B.). WILS did not disappoint as a schmooze-fest, and was a wonderful reminder of the social richness of the guitar community we inhabit.

Sounds stellar, Bruce. I wish I could have made it but I had the hard duty of spending a week in Rome (and not Rome, NY). Back on Weds. Sorry I missed you. Tim

Sorry to miss you. I had a pleasant conversation with a friend of yours about bicycles. All names have blurred together in my aging but still otherwise fairly competent mind.

Here’s a gallery of the photos I took of Bruce’s guitars at the Woodstock Invitational Luthiers Showcase. The pictures don’t do the guitars justice. The 00 in Brazilian rosewood was so light that if you picked it up with your eyes closed (after purchasing it), you could easily mistake it for mahogany.

Thank you for the time and trouble to do that! It was so great to see so many many familiar faces I see almost nowhere else.
