Philip Kubicki built Mitchell that dulcimer as well as an acoustic guitar at the same time.

Thanks. I guess I won't be asking him to build one for me, then!

Maybe, I can get Joni to sell it to me, or at least, let me borrow and try it out, then see if another builder would make a copy of it.

Back in the mid '70s, a guy I knew and I did coffeehouses, together. We did this song; I played my old Peter Smakula dulcimer on it.

Phil was a pal during high school. He ardently tried tried to woo my little sister. It's amazing to consider that he got into guitar business, building nylon stringed instruments!

He died, a successful, but bitter man. I wish he was still around?
