Congratulations!

I purchased my Collings from Artisan earlier this year and I agree with you about the neck. Last night i was simply moving the Collings from one stand to another and as i held it i thought OMG, this neck feels so right!

Update: I was working on a song my kids wanted me to play for them tonight (Wilco’s “What Light”) and had a capo on the 5th fret. After I was done learning the chords and lyrics to that song, I started horsing around with D major, A minor, and G major and just like that, this guitar gave me its first little riff. Thank you, OM1 T! You are inspirational!

Congrats on a world class guitar. When you find one that 'inspires you' and gives you songs, that's the true acid test. Well done!

Nice guitar! I have an OM2hT that I've owned coming up 3 years and it's fantastic - I'd say it really started to come into it's own after a year or so of playing and I feel it's still developing more character in the bass and low mids. The trebles were, of course, thick and lovely from the start!

I changed from PB to 80/20 on mine about 6 months ago and I've found the 80/20s really suit the more fundamental-focussed voice on this guitar.

I'd love to add an OM1t, or maybe an 001 14 T, or a 01T (or all three if I win the lotto!) at some point but, right now, my OM2hT does everything I could ask of it...

Here's a photo from when I bought it:
