Can't help with other brands, just gathered this information when I tried to find out what the conection was between Takamine and Wayne.
Strangely, some Wayne guitars had a 'Made in Korea' sticker on the headstock but the mountain label - I don't think Takamine had a Korea plant back then, they weren't even exporting to the USA.

Default Wayne acoustic WJ-79

Hi. Have just found you info on Wayne guitars
Have a WJ -79 acoustic. This has the Wayne on the headstock with the label as described - no mention of being made overseas and with the spelling mistake.

No sure if this is earlier or later than a D-50

Your thoughts appreciated
Regards
Paul

I can't really tell you much more about them.
They are Takamine guitars.
Not really collectable or highly valuable here.
Play it and enjoy it!

Welcome to the AGF too.
