I didn't spot that one. It's a touch cheaper than the 'bluegrass' one I posted.

I noticed the Alvarez Masterworks MD60BG is in this category too and the same guy also loves it. It's hard to choose, but I love the look of the Alvarez.

Mario, there are some great suggestions here; someone beat me to the Eastman suggestion and Vintage might be worth a look at too.

However, my best suggestion is Faith. All solid woods and you can pick up a very good condition secondhand or even new one for around 300-500 quid, depending how lucky you are. None of my three, including two slope dreadnoughts, were over £400 each and I haven't played any lower priced guitars which come close.

that's funny you know, I had a faith, lost it in the back of a cab (distracted by a lady)

But I have to say I am not overly impressed with them. They may be better now IDK. But I never liked the super glossy finish either. I may have a look... but I think I'm gonna steer toward trying the Alvarez and the RK and then the Yam.I just have a feeling that bluegrassy style is more for me ( I play folk and americana)
