Default Santa Cruz 00-Skye MINT - Adirondack / Cocobolo - (SALE PENDING)

This incredible guitar is from my personal collection and, to be frank, I have been reluctant to sell it. Unfortunately, it sits in its case more than I play it and that just doesn't seem right. I purchased this guitar new from Northernlights Music in NH earlier the Fall of 2016. It has been kept in a smoke-free and humidity-controlled environment and has literally been played about 5-hours - never gigged. There are no dings, scratches, etc. - in like-new condition. If you are able to find one, the street price is between $6100 and $6250.00. Save yourself about $1250.00 and the sales tax on this beautiful like-new instrument.

The Eric Skye model features gorgeous Cocobolo back and sides and a tight-grained Adirondack top, which produce a tone that's warm, punchy and incredibly clear all at once. The guitar is light to hold and responds effortlessly to bare fingers and subtle chord comping ~ with volume to spare.

Portland based jazz guitarist Eric Skye was named by 20th Century Guitar Magazine as one of the best rising stars of the American acoustic jazz scene." This hardworking instrumentalist has gained a loyal following both as a dramatic and expressive live performer He has been featured in magazines such as Acoustic Guitar, Guitar Player, Jazziz and Jazz Improv, and his music can be heard on NPR. To match his distinct personality and playing style, Richard Hoover form Santa Cruz approached Eric about developing a signature model guitar - something Santa Cruz doesn't normally do. They collectively dreamed up a gorgeous Cocobolo OO with an Adirondack top, unique 24.9 inch scale length for ease of playability, slightly deeper body for added bass and volume, hot hide glue with Adirondack Spruce, scalloped bracing and a distinctive herringbone purfling and ivoroid rosette. This instrument is designed for the excruciatingly accurate and sophisticated techniques of the most demanding jazz fingerstylist

Is there any sapwood on the sides? The back looks great. Maybe a couple more pix?
