I wasn’t sure what to expect from this song, but I have to say that I really enjoyed your take and production. Nice job!

Well done. Not a cover I would have expected on AGF, but you made it your own with such a fun arrangement. I know, I know, this is a guitar forum, but I loved your drumming on this!

Cheers,

Dave

Thank so much Dave! Especially happy you liked the drumming - when I first started out multitrack recording at home, I used to create MIDI drum tracks for the percussion. These days, I try and "keep it real" by recording me playing my cheap African hand drum (I used to have a pair of congas, but had to sell those), hand claps, etc., and also because I no longer have a MIDI keyboard set up with my computer/audio interface I'm no percussionist, but I try and play a simple pattern that works - it doesn't always hang together on some songs, but it is what it is!

Thanks Marty! I did play this live once or twice when I used to gig before the lockdown, but wasn't sure how well it worked with just solo guitar and voice - maybe I'll bring it back when/if I start gigging again!
