Default Tryfl Gig a'coming

well, DickensDad (Keith) and I will be performing with some other players (John on bass and Armando on percussion) in a band I have named Tryfl for the Titusville, FL Street Party on June 1st from 6-10 PM.

We played (without the bass) for a March of Dimes benefit where I work, and one of the other performers said that we had a strong "Jimmy Buffet" vibe (no surprise for some folks who made the Jax gathering a year ago -- since we performed 5 of my originals)...

then someone turned us onto this gig (they were looking for a Jimmy Buffet-esque sound), we recorded a demo (4 songs, two Buffet, 1 original and 1 Robert Palmer) with the bass player, Keith did some post-production (including a "sampler" mix of all 4 songs) and voila, we got the gig.

Now, we just need 3 sets of songs that we know or can play from charts. We're going have some guest artists in the 2nd and 3rd set, so they'll bring some of their songs to the set list.

The bass player and the percussionist are excellent players (Armando toured with DelSol)..... this will be fun....

Anyone want to offer song suggestions?

Just one small problem with that set list Todd,
People like me and Tom would never be able to remember that many songs no matter how hard we tried.

Cut it in half and maybe I could fake it the rest of the time.

LOL

if my scanner were working I would shoot the majority of them off to you today, but unfortunately we are having a software issue (I even bought a new scanner and it's doing the same thing...) I'll try to get to the print shop and shoot you some next week....
