Rodrigo y Gabriela: Mixing Metal and Mexico
You guys already know about Rodrigo & Gabriela, but here's an interview that aired recently on NPR radio that I thought you might enjoy......also here's something I didn't know......The popular Irish folksinger Damien Rice discovered Rodrigo y Gabriela, asked the pair to tour with him, and their new career was launched

I heard they headed for Ireland to busk after burning out on heavy metal. Metal's loss, acoustica's gain!! They are in heavy rotation on WXRT, our local AAA/Alternative/progressive rock station.

They do a fantastic rendition of "Stairway to Heaven".
Very, very cool. A breath of fresh air on acoustic guitar.
