I just watched that an hour or two ago (and commented) - thank you, I hope to pick mine up today.

I’m very interested in what you said about an electronics upgrade. Please keep us posted here how that works, I don’t get on YT much.

Aaron, be assured that the Classic Series RainSong WS1000N1 is the true sound of carbon and the guitar doesn't try to disguise its tone or looks to lessen its full-on, in-your-face personality--In other words, REJOICE!

I realize that and I feel like if you are getting a CF guitar then why not get these specs. It’s great!

Unintended consequence of getting my new WS1000 Classic - now I want a JM1000 N1 Black Ice. Lol

I have been wanting one of those few a couple of months. That’s funny!

Are these new WS1000 the same build/material as a BI-WS1000?, Does the top b/t the two make a difference, besides looks? Im tempted to buy one at the that price.

The Black Ice is different. I would jump on the WS1000 at the current $1999 price though!

Years ago, I had a RainSong JM3000N1 12-String and it sounded gorgeous and loud. I've not played a JM3000N1 but it should have many of the tonal properties of the Twelver.

A JM3000 was my original bucket list twelve, but I diverted to my WS3000 and have been delighted with it. There’s something about a jumbo, though.

Nicely done as always.

You have surprisingly long fingernails on your fretting hand.

If I cut them too short and then play a 4 hour gig I get sore. I keep them slightly longer for that reason.

I’m seriously considering a Rainsong WS. So I appreciate the review. Though I’m a short scale thick neck guy, so I found a local store with a parlor with the NS neck, so I’m going to scoot over tomorrow and see how that feels. If I like it, I’ll probably order a custom WS.

And I file my left hand nails tight. They get in the way otherwise. ( I cut a finger once with a sharp adjacent nail decades ago. )
