The Guitarists of Tom Waits
For the Tom Waits fan ...and I'm one of them... this should be very interesting. I'm familiar with contributions of Marc Ribot on Tom's albums but there were so many others with amazing histories.

I just finished watching this and it was a great video. I've been a big Waits fan since Small Change came out in 1976. I remember when Blue Valentine came out a couple years later and it was something of a big deal that it was the first album of his to feature guitar playing. Marc Ribot's contributions have been amazing over the years. I enjoyed hearing about all the other great guitarists that have played on Waits' albums.

For me, it was Heartattack and Vine. There was one summer where I hardly played anything else in the car. The same thing happened with Raindogs. For a long time I couldn't turn that one off either.

Yep me too about HeartAttack and Vine. On the Nickle is such an emotional song, sung in such a way that only Tom could do.

Thanks for the info! I'll have to carve out some time to view this. I almost never watch anything on screen anymore.
